The Victorian era had a dish or a utensil for everything. This carried over to the Art Deco period for some items. Sugar shakers and the creamer are one of these items. They also used these for salt and for syrup. The pattern on this pair is a geometric design with wonderful colors and a floral look and square body. Colors are pale and cobalt blue, pink and green floral leaves, then yellow accents and Black handle. Signed Made in Japan in black ink.
